Life in words

People always tell me how great it feels to get your thoughts out on paper (well I guess now its more like thoughts onto your computer). I'm starting this blog as an assignment for a social media class that I'm taking but hoping that I keep writing long after the class is over. Before this class I never thought that I would get a Twitter account and I definitely never thought I would begin blogging.

My dad, aunt and sister are all writers so it'll be pretty fun to see where this takes me.When we were kids it seemed like so many people had diaries and journals so I'm kind of glad that blogs are so popular now. It's not always easy for me to get my thoughts into words but I can't say I'm not excited to try. Life gets pretty crazy sometimes so it will be interesting to put it all into words. The things I write about are going to be lessons I learn from day to day, my thoughts, or even just the things that I find interesting.

Let's see how this goes!
